this site was made back in 2022, but i only began working on it in 2024. halcalic is an extension of myself and was created as a means of self-expression!

i really love having creative outlets! web design is definitely one of them.

i'm self-taught, so my code undoubtedly has room for improvement and i still have lots to learn, but this kind of thing is incredibly fulfilling for me!

there are sooo many inspiring webmasters and sites out there; they all motivate me to continue working on my own site!

- okay.. why 'halcalic'?

i'm not exactly sure when, but i remember having a brief interest in HALCALI, a japanese rap-pop duo, and i guess i wanted to dedicate a username to them.

in hindsight, this definitely wasn't the most creative thing i've ever done, considering how i simply added another letter to their name and called it a day.. still! their music slaps and i can't deny the fact that i'm quite attached to this user.
